2014 Renault Zoe EV is still alive after more than 10+ years of usage

14% drop in 10 years. 1.4% per year . Same original battery pack for the past 10+ years. No need to change the battery but I would love to upgrade it to 41kWh or 52kWh which is not possible in MY but possible in UK.

Vital stats –
Battery SoH: 86%
Battery Odometer: 93,279km
Total energy can be stored: 19.7kWh

Tow truck due to out of battery not enough range: 0 (zero) times
Max range per charged is depending on my driving style or how heavy my foot on the pedal : A: If getting 7km/kWh, possible max range to 0% is around 137.9km.
B: If getting 6km/kWh, possible max range to 0% is around 118.2km.
And yes, I do drive my Zoe until 0% SoC because the battery is so small need all the range I can get from it. Nowadays my average energy consumption is always on B 6km/kWh because of the driving speed & acceleration.

So, EV battery need to be changed after 10 years of usage is a myth. Flush all your FUDs after reading this posts & go buy that e.MAS7, M6 or EV you preferred to start your journey in sustainable mobility. Jimat duit maintenance + kos cas elektrik lah…
